As a Director at We-Collab, Jerron Hawkins focuses on our place-based work portfolio. Jerron is a dedicated community leader and advocate for disenfranchised communities. Prior to joining We-Collab, he served as a political appointee at the U.S. Department of Justice as a Policy Advisor in the Community Relations Service. In addition to focusing on policy, advocacy, and equity for non-profits, Jerron is also a licensed attorney. He is deeply committed to advancing social equity, leveraging his expertise in policy analysis, legal advocacy, strategic planning, and community engagement to empower youth and other groups. Jerron serves on several nonprofit boards focused on creating opportunities for underrepresented communities to access essential resources and build pathways to success.

A proud double alumnus of Howard University, Jerron earned his B.A. in Political Science in 2019 and his J.D. in 2022. Outside of his professional endeavors, Jerron spends his free time reading, staying active, and exploring new places through travel.
