GET TO KNOW ME

A few things that have shaped my perspective on life

Three things that changed my life

My high school teachers at Alief Elsik, attending an HBCU and witnessing the impact of Hurricane Katrina first hand

What keeps me up at night

But these same systems have not come together to make sure black and brown kids graduate high school and college career ready and we have broader racial equity throughout our schools, workplaces and justice systems

My superpower

Describe your life in five words.

Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Space
